My Pawrent Reads Banned Books - reversible embroidered fundraiser bandana

Well, we didn’t think in 2025 we’d have to support efforts to overturn Orwellian book bans. But here we are!

As former Albertans, we’ve been deeply disturbed and angered to see what’s happening in our own home province, as anti-science, anti-2SLGBTQIA+, anti-disabled, anti-BIPOC, and anti-literacy factions, led in large part by Danielle Smith and the United Conservative Party (UCP) government are pushing to make the province an increasingly scary and unsafe place to be.

But the Puppies for Peace will not stand for this! They’ve designed a new bandana to not only proclaim how important reading banned books is for democracy, inclusion, and community, but to help raise funds for people fighting for those exact things!

For every bandana sold, we’ll donate $5 directly to Trans Rights YEG, an intersectional grassroots organization in Alberta dedicated not only to fighting the current book ban proposals, but to create a safe and inclusive Alberta for all marginalized communities.

For transparency, a copy of the receipt of donation and the order number will be available in our highlight reel on Instagram.

These bandanas are fastened with ties and are all reversible. Please check your pet's neck size carefully to make sure you consult our sizing guide.
